Servecentric has launched enhanced internet connectivity services for business customers as part of a plan to lift revenue to €6 million by the end of 2027.

The new offer includes single- and dual-presentation connectivity services, with stated availability levels of 99.95% and 99.999% respectively. The dual-presentation service is designed to maintain service during an incident or outage and reduce the risk of failures linked to providers, local interfaces and local firewalls.

Both products use at least three separate upstream telecoms providers and multiple network routes. The services also include round-the-clock active monitoring and support.

The launch comes as Servecentric seeks to expand its connectivity business over the next two years. It also aims to double the number of customers using its internet connectivity services by 2028.

Customer demand

The company is rolling out the service in response to demand from customers seeking greater control over connectivity, particularly around availability and security. It is primarily targeting businesses in the IT and AI sectors, including software development, Internet of Things, managed services and cyber security.

The service also includes protection against distributed denial-of-service attacks and can be tailored to the needs of individual organisations.

Headquartered in Dublin, Servecentric describes itself as an Irish-owned provider operating from a Tier III data centre facility. Its wider portfolio includes colocation, cloud and connectivity services.

Connectivity providers are facing demand from customers seeking more resilient network access as more business systems rely on continuous online availability. For companies working in software, connected devices and managed IT operations, outages can disrupt customer services, internal workflows and security monitoring.

Servecentric said the new service is intended to reduce business interruption and IT downtime for customers. It has also positioned the launch as part of a broader commercial expansion across several markets.

"This enhanced service ties in with our ambition to provide a highly available full turnkey solution for businesses across cloud, connectivity and colocation. Customers are increasingly looking for zero downtime and more control over their connectivity, and we want to offer enhanced flexibility and scalability in an increasingly interconnected world. This service also provides enhanced levels of security at a time when protection against sophisticated and ever-evolving cyber risks is more crucial than ever," said Brian Roe, Chief Executive Officer of Servecentric.

Roe also set out how the launch fits into the company's growth plans.

"We are committed to continued technological advancement to ensure that we deliver best-in-class services that meet the changing needs of our customers. As a business, we are on an exciting growth trajectory, and the launch of this service is a key element of our expansion plans over the next two years. As well as further increasing our customer base, it will enable us to extend our footprint across multiple markets," Roe said.
