Westcon-Comstor launches SASEvolution with Palo Alto
Mon, 25th May 2026 (Today)
Westcon-Comstor has launched SASEvolution with Palo Alto Networks, a programme for partners across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
The offer combines Palo Alto Networks' Prisma SASE with Westcon-managed services in bundled packages that partners can resell to customers. Built around customer use cases, the packages include secure internet access, zero trust network access, secure enterprise browser and full-stack SASE, alongside design, deployment and support services.
The scheme is intended to help partners sell and deliver SASE without needing extensive services operations, certifications or specialist knowledge. It is being offered through Westcon-Comstor's channel network to partners serving mid-market and enterprise customers, including organisations with distributed workforces, branch sites and businesses moving away from legacy VPNs and perimeter-based security models.
Market demand
The launch comes as demand for SASE products and services rises among companies reshaping networks and security around cloud use and hybrid working. Citing Gartner research, Westcon-Comstor said the global SASE market is projected to reach USD $28.5 billion by 2028, with compound annual growth of 26%.
Westcon-Comstor is positioning the programme as a way to reduce pre-sales work for partners by replacing individually assembled products with pre-defined commercial bundles. The model is also intended to lower deployment risk and make projects easier to deliver at scale.
According to Westcon-Comstor, partners at different stages of SASE development can adopt the programme. Businesses with limited existing practice depth can use the service structure from the outset, while more mature partners can build on what they already offer.
Daniel Hurel outlined the issues the programme is designed to address.
"Demand for SASE continues to grow rapidly, driven by cloud-first strategies, hybrid work environments and Zero Trust security requirements," said Daniel Hurel, Senior Vice President, Westcon EMEA Go-To-Market at Westcon-Comstor. "However, adoption is often slowed by challenges including complex solution scoping, lengthy sales cycles, skills shortages and uncertainty around commercial models. SASEvolution directly addresses these issues by packaging technology and services together from the outset, enabling partners to move faster by leveraging our proven ability to help them scale with confidence and drive profitable, services-led growth."
Channel focus
For Palo Alto Networks, the programme extends Prisma SASE through an established regional distributor and its partner base. It also reflects the growing role distributors are seeking to play in turning vendor software and services into packaged offers that partners can resell with less in-house integration work.
Patricia Murphy said the arrangement gives partners a more defined route into the market.
"As organisations continue to embrace Zero Trust and cloud-first strategies, the need for scalable, integrated SASE solutions has never been greater," said Patricia Murphy, Vice President, EMEA Ecosystems, Strategic Alliances and Channel at Palo Alto Networks. "SASEvolution provides partners with a clear and structured way to deliver Prisma SASE, helping to accelerate adoption while ensuring consistent, high-quality outcomes for customers. We look forward to seeing how this programme will showcase our industry-leading technology with Westcon-Comstor's proven channel expertise and enablement capabilities."
Westcon-Comstor operates in more than 50 countries and focuses on cybersecurity, networking and hybrid cloud markets. Through its Westcon, Comstor and Rebura business lines, it connects vendors with resellers, systems integrators and service providers across international markets.
SASEvolution is designed to support a shift among partners towards recurring revenue models tied to managed and service-led security sales rather than one-off product transactions.
