Qualcom appoints Sergii Khaliman as IT Field Engineer

Qualcom has appointed Sergii Khaliman as IT Field Engineer, supporting customers across Northern Ireland.

In the role, he will provide on-site technical support, including the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of systems such as payment terminals and network infrastructure, including routers.

His work will focus on helping customers resolve issues quickly and maintain day-to-day operations where technology systems are critical to business activity.

Khaliman joins with experience in technical support, network operations and security technology delivery. Before joining Qualcom, he was Product Delivery Team Leader at Pinnacle Response, where he led the delivery of body-worn camera systems in the security technology sector and contributed to the development and implementation of new product features.

Earlier in his career, he was a Tech Bar Engineer at BT, providing customer-facing support and resolving hardware and software issues. He also worked as a NOC Engineer at Fibrus Broadband, where he monitored network performance, managed incidents and helped maintain broadband services.

Alongside his professional experience, Khaliman holds certifications in Python and HTML & CSS, and has a law degree from Ukraine.

Regional support

Qualcom operates in the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands, providing IT and cybersecurity services to organisations across multiple sectors. The appointment strengthens its field engineering resource in Northern Ireland as it expands support for customers in the region.
